Took a fantastic hike through the narrows in Zions National Park with friends Tod and Kim. Perfect weather on a late September day. Spent a good part of the day in the water hiking up the river bed. The views were beautiful.
We rented special water socks and boots to keep our feet warm from the cold water.
On the shuttle up to the trail head. Tod was fueling up.
Kim putting on her gear.
Taking off heading up stream.
One of the deepest spots were the water came up past our waists. Cold!
How the narrows got it's name.
The finish. What an adventure!
Warming Tod up.
Skinny deer visiting near by.
View across from the restaurant we ate at in Springdale.
