Great weather for a fun stop at Gettysburg. Hard to believe it's December. So much history to take in.

The Capital

Today we went downtown to Washington, D.C. I went with my sister and her sweet family for a private tour of the capital. One of my niece's friends is a Capital Police officer and offered to give a tour on his day off. It was fun to go to some places where the general tours don't go. After the tour we went over to the Botanical Gardens and saw all of the displays for Christmas. It was a fun day!
