Took a fantastic hike through the narrows in Zions National Park with friends Tod and Kim. Perfect weather on a late September day. Spent a good part of the day in the water hiking up the river bed. The views were beautiful. We rented special water socks and boots to keep our feet warm from the cold water. On the shuttle up to the trail head. Tod was fueling up. Kim putting on her gear. Taking off heading up stream. One of the deepest spots were the water came up past our waists. Cold! How the narrows got it's name.
The finish. What an adventure! Warming Tod up. Skinny deer visiting near by. View across from the restaurant we ate at in Springdale.
I was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. I was blessed to have a wonderful and stable childhood. I grew up in the gospel of Jesus Christ, and my faith as a Latter Day Saint is of the utmost importance to me, but it developed as I questioned and sought for answers. Yes the Lord does indeed answer prayers.
I married the man of my dreams in July and have found such joy sharing everyday with him. He is a blessing in my life and I love him so much.
I have 4 wonderful kids and am so proud of them.
My life is so complete and I count my blessings everyday.
