Mean much more to me then new friends
Cause they can see where you are,
Cause they can see where you are,
Harry Chapen (Old friends).
LeeAnn has been my best friend since we could crawl. She has been there through thick and thin.
We were in the play The King and I when we were about 10. Like usual LeeAnn got the nicer looking outfit. I didn't mind even though mine was a pucky dark green. Jealously never was a very big problem in our friendship. In fact we were each others biggest fans throughout our whole lives. Whenever one of us needs encouragement, we pick up the phone.
At Washington Park with LeeAnn and sisters Terry and Christy, friend Vicky.

LeeAnn went from looking like this:To
Looking like this. Yes I guess it's true the ugly duckling really does turn into the beautiful swan.
LeeAnn fulfilled every girls dream, and became a real princess.
Lee with our mutual friend Theresa Richardson (Miss Oregon) in the parade.
Look at all that hair!!!!
One of our many sleepovers. Our house was her house and her house was mine. We practically lived together. The fridge was always open range and so were our closets. If I didn't have something to wear, I would pop over to Lee's and take my pick. Luckily our shoes even fit. She saved me a ton of money on my clothes budget.
Goofing around on a beach trip with my sister Terry and her friend Denise Newsome. We just took off one weekend to Lincoln city and decided to hit the coast. We couldn't find a hotel, because they were all full, so we ended up sleeping in my dads big Lincoln Continental in a camping ground. Ter and LeeAnn each took up a whole seat and Denise and I ended up in the trunk. Needless to say we didn't get much sleep. We ended up going to Sambo's just as the sun came up and ate breakfast. We must have looked a sight and I'm sure we gave the waitress a run for her money.
Horse back riding at Sundance with LeeAnn and friend Lynn Walker. The picture of the gate was to Robert Redford's. We hung outside for a while like a bunch of groupies, but never caught a glimpse of him. Darn.
Scott Lakey my first love, LeeAnn's cousin, Christy, and Bill Dick - LeeAnn's 4 year mistake. Love his white pants!
At Terry's baby shower. My cousin DeeDee, Lee's big sister Vicky, and my next best friend Linda Schaffer. Miss the big hair days!
Best pals forever. Some day we will wear purple together.
I was pregnant with Brooke. By now LeeAnn was living in Southern California, this was one of her rare trips back to the NW. Time never seems to pass however, we just pick up conversations were we left off. We still tell the same inside jokes, and always keep each other laughing.
Our folks have been best friends since the 40's and like mothers, like daughters, so are we.
The four of them in HongKong on one of the New Oregon Singer tours. Gordon, Colleen, Loree, and Donald.
Ryan, Grant, Emily, and Mckenna.
More of LeeAnn's darling munchkins.
My fav Christmas picture. I loved it when I called LeeAnn to tell her dog seemed a bit excited in the photo. She died laughing realizing that she had sent those out not noticing that minor detail. Of course I would notice a thing like that.
